Art lovers unite! We here at Public Works are coming off a couple wonderful art events last weekend. On Saturday, July 23, we hosted The Murray Invitational: an art show dedicated to all things Bill Murray. It was a blast — because, well, it’s hard not to have a good time with anything Murray-related. Then, the day after, on Sunday the 24th, we hosted a pop-up exhibition courtesy of Pure Evil … otherwise known as San Francisco-based artist and musician Charles Uzzell Edwards. He exhibited a selection of works created from a recent trip across America, in which he retools old porcelain and enamel signs into his signature “Nightmare Series” — seen above.
