If you’re reading this, you already know this, but San Francisco is truly one of the greatest places in the world to live. Our city is blessed with an embarrassment of riches (both literally and figuratively) and is truly unlike any other place in the world. We’re proud to call ourselves San Franciscans.

Unfortunately, our fine city is stricken with a number of problems, perhaps the most visible and longest-lasting of which is chronic homelessness. It’s one of the first things any visitor to San Francisco notices — the size of our homeless population is staggering.
