We all know Rob Garza, half of Thievery Corporation — but on his own, Rob has been developing his career as a solo artist. From downtempo electronic, to worldly and deep Latino-infused house and nu-disco, he’s been able to extend past the sound that he was bounded by in the band. In essence, he’s taking it back to his techno roots from the early 90s.
2013 saw a rise of solo-touring and the release of his Remixes album along with other original productions that prove Rob really is just as badass (if not more) on his own — and even rather generous, and some of these are free downloads.
