Dare to donate: Couple loses everything in Doghouse fire

This Sunday, Jerk Church presents a benefit for the victims of the Doughouse fire. Faulty wiring caused the midnight blaze, which left John and Angela Muse Williams with a lack of belongings and a slew of bills after John’s three-month stay in the burn unit.

In celebration of this new chapter, Jerk Church invites you for an afternoon-to-evening affair with music by The Jerk Church Tabernacle Choir (a big ‘singalong’ show featuring songbooks, dancing girls and more!), The Basements, The Wyatt Act, Brass Liberation Orchestra, Burlesque by Laika Fox and The Field Marshal Von No O’s Daredevilcircusfreakshow. Plus for the late-night cats, DJ Darkat will grace the decks.

Aside from the music, local artists, artisans and vendors will be around selling their crafts.

A $15 donation for entry is suggested – the cause is worth it.
