In the beginning there was Jack … and Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the grooves of all grooves.
This month at ICEE HOT we are bringing you one of the true Jacks, someone who could tell us a thing or two about THE BEGINNING:
JAMAL MOSS a.k.a. HIEROGLYPHIC BEING a.k.a. MEMBERS ONLY a.k.a. I.B.M. a.k.a. THE SUN GOD a.k.a. IAMTHATIAM

JAMAL MOSS a.k.a. HIEROGLYPHIC BEING a.k.a. MEMBERS ONLY a.k.a. I.B.M. a.k.a. THE SUN GOD a.k.a. IAMTHATIAM
Moss has been a figure in Chicago house music since the late ’80s. Early on, he was taken under the wing of house legend Adonis, who became a key mentor figure in Moss’ life and an inspiration for his production.Simply put, Moss is everything that makes music exciting and good. His production is fearless, he defends the history of house while consistently pushing boundaries, and he continues to work non-stop in his own direction.
Moss also runs the prolific MATHEMATICS label, and has put out works by the likes of LIL’ LOUIS, ADONIS, STEVE POINDEXTER, MARCELLO NAPOLETANO, and BASIC SOUL UNIT.
We can’t wait to see Hieroglyphic Being tearing up the loft with some serious DJing and DRUM MACHINE SITUATIONS (he’s going in on BOTH!)
Rounding off the night is the newest addition to the legendary MATHEMATICS roster, our buddy ROCHE, who will be coming through to do a LIVE PA. We can’t wait to hear what Roche has for us and we are certain IT’S GOING TO BE BIG.
